VILLAGE ADMISSION POLICY


    Valley View Retirement Community operates a continuing care retirement community and provides housing for persons 60 years of age and older in its cottages and residential living facilities. Valley View Retirement Community may, in its sole discretion, waive the minimum age requirement for admission in under certain circumstances. These circumstances are limited to the following:

  • A. When there are co-applicants, one applicant must be at least 60 years of age or older. The other co-applicant may be under age 60, but must pay an additional 4% of the current entrance fee for each year of age under age 60 at the time of admission.
  • B. The minimum age requirement may be waived for individuals who are chronically disabled. Such individuals may be required to pay an additional entrance fee.
  •     To preserve its character as a community for adults aged 60 and over, Valley View limits the number of its residential living cottage units available for individuals under age 60 to no more than five percent of the total units.

        Valley View Retirement Community conducts its operations in accordance with the Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended by the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988). Valley View Retirement Community does not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, gender, handicap, or national origin in the provision of housing.
