Chaplaincy Services are provided by Valley View Retirement Community. We have a full-time chaplain as well as a part-time chaplain to meet the spiritual needs of residents and their families as well as staff.

    Our Chaplaincy program is opened to all residents in the Haven, Terrace and Village and provides spiritual guidance, grief support and informal fellowship. The chaplain and associate chaplain are on call to serve residents regardless of their church affiliation.

    Valley View Retirement Community strives to provide a variety of experiences to enhance and support residents in our Christian Community.

    The Valley View Chapel is located on the main floor of the Haven above Oakwood Centre at the west end of the facility.

    All Residents are invited to the Chapel for the interdenominational services.

    A Chapel Committee consisting of  residents chaired by the chaplain meet periodically to decide how the offerings will be used.

    You may request a visit from the chaplain by calling the receptionist or the chaplain himself at 717-935-2105. Memorial Services, Bible Studies, hospital visitations and quarterly communion services are also provided by our chaplains.

    Worship Services are held every Sunday at 10:30am and every Thursday at 1:15pm. Please feel free to come and worship with us!
